Art in Bloom is back — and it’s more spectacular than ever.
For one vibrant weekend, the Speed Art Museum transforms into a living gallery as 15 of Louisville’s most talented florists take over our permanent collection galleries, creating stunning floral displays inspired by works of art from our own walls. The result? A one-of-a-kind experience where nature and art collide in the most colorful, eye-catching way imaginable.
Wander the galleries, discover the unexpected pairings of petal and paint, and vote for your favorites. Every corner is a photo moment. Every display tells a story.

Weekend Programming
The blooms don’t stop at the galleries. Art in Bloom weekend is packed with floral-themed programming, including a flower pressing and framing class, plus a flower dyeing instruction class — both ticketed separately. Drop-in floral art-making activities are also available throughout the run, included with your museum admission.
