Art in Bloom is back — and it’s more spectacular than ever.
For one vibrant weekend, the Speed Art Museum transforms into a living gallery as up to 15 of Louisville’s most talented florists take over our permanent collection galleries, creating stunning floral displays inspired by works of art from our own walls. The result? A one-of-a-kind experience where nature and art collide in the most colorful, eye-catching way imaginable.
Wander the galleries, discover the unexpected pairings of petal and paint, and vote for your favorites. Every corner is a photo moment. Every display tells a story.
Weekend Programming
The blooms don’t stop at the galleries. Art in Bloom weekend is packed with floral-themed programming, including a floral design class and a flower pressing and framing class — both ticketed separately. Drop-in floral art-making activities are also available throughout the run, included with your museum admission.
