Legacy Workshops is a new creative series for adults ages 60 and older that invites participants to explore art making, connect with others, and honor the magic of a creative practice.
Join us this month as we focus on mosaic making! Explore color, pattern, and texture as you create your own mosaic at your own pace. We will have materials and guidance available, whether you’re new to mosaics or looking to experiment. As always, feel free to bring in past legacy workshop projects that you are working on. Create, explore, and spend time making art alongside others.
Bio: Stephen Batiz is a self-taught painter, illustrator, and installation artist exploring the spaces between isolation and connection. Through painting, drawing, and interactive experiences, he creates work that invites people to slow down, participate, and reflect on their own presence in the world. Rooted in curiosity and experimentation, Batiz’s practice transforms personal symbolism and material exploration into shared moments of recognition and connection.
