Speed Social: Connect & Sketch is a creative happy hour offering an afternoon of observation, conversation, drawing, and sometimes a little bit of the unexpected. October’s theme is Strange & Spooky, inviting you to explore the Speed’s collection through the eerie, mysterious, and downright strange. Wander the galleries with our specially designed self-guided tours, then settle in for live model figure drawing with Sydni Hampton as Elvira, and a DJ set. A cash bar opens at 4 PM, with Nakies, a new and local non-alcoholic drink, also available. Keep an eye on the calendar for updates on special programming and additional collaborations presented as part of Speed Social.
