This darling little portrait is sitting in storage, awaiting some assistance! Fortunately, this painting is in need of only a minor treatment, but it will result in moderate to major improvement in the overall appearance of this lovely lady. The varnish is aged and dirty, resulting in a low, dull sheen overall, and there is a fairly significant grime layer obscuring the surface. Unfortunately, this strata of dirt creates a lack of depth and very poor color saturation.

The frame would also benefit from cleaning, and a full proposal is required to ascertain the time, effort, and cost—but she is definitely worth every penny!
