This workshop will explore the potential of dyeing with botanicals and other plant-based dyes. Experimenting with hibiscus, marigolds, pokeberry, and various wildflowers, guests will have the opportunity to design and create a custom bandana to take home using dye and eco printing methods. No experience needed to enjoy this workshop.

Bio: Sarah Jane Castellon is a Louisville-based fibers and mixed media artist. A recent MFA graduate from the University of Louisville studying fiber art and interdisciplinary studies, Sarah Jane has built her practice around sustainable and ecological material exploration. She is an arts educator with a background in fashion design and community-based works.
