Project: Above the Mat: Creative Float Mounting Techniques

Description: Float mounting is a picture framing technique where the artwork is elevated slightly above the mat, creating the appearance of “floating” within the frame. It’s ideal for showcasing pieces with unique edges or three-dimensional elements. In the workshop, you’ll create a small artwork and learn how to frame it using this method. All materials will be provided.
