All visitors age 12 or older must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID test from within 72 hours to attend an event or program at the Speed, including Speed Cinema Screenings. 7:30 – 8 pm | Experience a reading from Marta Miranda’s Cradled by Skeletons. This memoir relates the author’s experience of trauma, resilience, and transformation, and portrays how her life’s work as a clinical and organizational social worker has been fueled by discernment, resistance, and transformation of the individual, institutional and societal systems of power. She will be musically accompanied by cellist Ben Sollee and drummer Charles Amewudah. Following Marta’s lecture, she will be doing a book signing of Cradled by Skeletons in our gift shop.

Every third Friday, the Museum will once again be open until 10 pm. Each After Hours event comes alive with an eclectic mix of music, performances, cash bar + food available by Wiltshire at the Speed, and of course art!
