In conjunction with the special installation of Amy Sherald’s Portrait of Breonna Taylor: In the Garden, we are excited to partner with No More Red Dots Peace Through the Arts (PTTA) to conduct this workshop for participants to create simple prints of their own images exploring the importance of our emotional connections to one another. PTTA will be lending their expertise to help guide participants in dialogue and facilitate the process of making multiple prints using a Risograph printer. Inspired by Felix Gonzales-Torres’ work on view in this installation, each participant will be encouraged to gift a copy of their artwork to friends, family, or strangers. No More Red Dots is an organization working to end gun violence and recidivism in Louisville by providing programs with opportunities, resource access for individuals, and training.
