The artists below are some of my all-time faves—and they all just happen to have works featured in the Speed’s permanent collection or in upcoming exhibitions!   1. Janine Antoni: (@janine_antoni) Antoni is a visual artist born in Freeport, Bahamas in 1964, known for her unusual processes. Her body is both her tool for making and the source from which her meaning arises. LEARN MORE

Mel Chin: (@mel.chin) He is known for the broad range of approaches in his art, including works that require multi-disciplinary, collaborative teamwork and works that conjoin cross-cultural aesthetics with complex ideas. Erin Ellen Kelly: (@erin_ellen_kelly) Kelly is a body based artist that creates performances and ephemeral collages for on-site presentation, the stage, installations, photographs and video, whose aim is for the body and its dance to explore nuanced relationships to environments and society.   5. Dario Robleto: (@dariorobleto) Robleto is an American multidisciplinary artist, researcher, writer, and teacher. His research-driven practice results in intricately handcrafted objects that reflect his exploration of music, popular culture, science, war, and American history. LEARN MORE
  6. Tavares Strachan: (@tarvaresstrachan) Strachan is a contemporary conceptual artist whose practice activates the intersections of art, science, and politics, offering uniquely synthesized points of view on the cultural dynamics of scientific knowledge. LEARN MORE
