Create, shape, build, and transform everyday materials into sculptural masterpieces. Learn about sculptures in the Speed’s collection and use everything from clay to wire to paper maché to create your own unique three-dimensional artworks.

Traverse the globe and uncover art making techniques from different cultures – all without leaving the Museum. Campers will discover different parts of the world as they explore the Speed’s collection and create artworks inspired by their travels.
July 8 — 12
If you’ve ever wondered about the science of color, the meaning of symmetry, or how that sculpture stands up on its own, this is the camp for you! Campers will connect concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math to dynamic works of Art for a week full of curiosity driven fun.
July 15 — 19
Calling all budding architects! Spend your week building with clay, cardboard, sticks, and more. Explore the architecture of the Speed Art Museum then try your hand at designing your own building!
July 22 — 26
Go on a safari at the Speed! Search for animals in works of art and learn about the techniques artists used to create their masterpieces. Then make your own wild creations inspired by animals from all over the world!
Crazy for Color

Calling all color crazy kiddos! Get messy creating art using every color of the rainbow. Find inspiration in the Speed’s collection while exploring color theory and learning how colors link to emotions.
