Movement in the Museum – Pilates Remix

Pilates Remix 

Instructor Kelley will teach a modern pilates class to music. If you’re used to classical pilates, this will be a little different. The first and last 10ish minutes of class will be dedicated to stretching, while the middle will be a series of high-energy, low-impact exercises focused on activating small muscles we don’t usually pay much attention to. Kelley prefers a brand of Pilates that doesn’t take itself too seriously and teaches what she refers to as “Pilates for the people”. No prior experience with pilates is necessary. All are welcome.

Join us in the Atrium every 2nd Sunday of the month for a free body movement class! Previous classes have included yoga with Kentucky Yoga Initiative and barre class from Barre3. Please bring your own materials, such as yoga mats, towels, and water bottles.

Please note, the Museum entrance does not open till 12 pm.
