DESCRIPTION:Art in Bloom\nJuly 31 – August 2\, 2026\, during regular museum hours \nArt in Bloom is back — and it’s more spectacular than ever. \nFor one vibrant weekend\, the Speed Art Museum transforms into a living gallery as 16 of Louisville’s most talented florists take over our permanent collection galleries\, creating stunning floral displays inspired by works of art from our own walls. The result? A one-of-a-kind experience where nature and art collide in the most colorful\, eye-catching way imaginable. \nWander the galleries\, discover the unexpected pairings of petal and paint\, and vote for your favorites. Every corner is a photo moment. Every display tells a story. \nParticipating artists: \n\nBlack Rooster Farms\nBloomed Roots\nBoston’s Floral Couture & Tablescaping\nBy Denizen\nCarol Matton\nElite Events\nFleur de Lis Events\nJ. Art in Bloom weekend is packed with floral-themed programming\, including a flower pressing and framing class\, plus a flower dyeing instruction class — both ticketed separately. Join in an Art in Bloom collection tour with our docents\, learn more. Drop-in floral art-making activities are also available throughout the run\, included with your museum admission. \nPressed Botanicals: The Art of Pressed Flowers\nSaturday\, August 1 | 1 – 2 PM\nThis workshop is SOLD OUT \nSpeed Studio: Adult Workshop | Botanical Impressions\nSaturday\, August 1 | 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM\nThis workshop is SOLD OUT \nClosing Reception\nSunday\, August 2 | 5:30 – 7:00 PM\n$40 non-members | $30 members\nEnjoy floral-themed cocktails and cocktails with your first drink on us\, light bites\, and the chance to meet Art in Bloom floral designers.
