Mindfulness & Meditation Retreat : Gratitude and Loving Kindness
Quiet the mind, open the heart, nurture creativity, and increase focus where art and mindfulness meet.
Open to anyone with curiosity about silent mindfulness practice. On the Saturday after Thanksgiving this is a wonderful alternative to shopping, football, eating left-overs or other mindless activities. Settle into the Museum’s beautiful spaces and be guided by three professionals through 4+ hours of mindful experiences of gratitude, loving-kindness, walking, deep looking and more.
Throughout the day you’ll engage in practices of seated breath-focused meditation, walking meditation with journaling reflection, Oceanic and Dynamic breathing, chair yoga, Gatha meditation, personal reflection, silent meditation, and an option for a guided tour of the Museum following the final exercise. No mindfulness practice experience required.
