Join us for an opening celebration of the latest Community Connections Exhibition! Participants will be invited to attend After Hours at the Speed following the reception celebration.

This 8-week mixed media workshop investigated the concept of identity through a modern lens. Participants learned more about the power of self-expression and exploration by tuning into the inner tapestry of their own personal histories and narratives. Mini art making projects and journaling wove together the visual narrative of identity as they examined art history, played with techniques, and discovered what brings them joy as individuals. The workshop now culminates with artists creating a mixed media project inspired by their research, self-reflection, and a unique visual motif portraying an empowered aspect of their identity.
