From cocktail parties to elegant receptions with dinner and dancing, the Speed offers one of Louisville’s most unique and beautiful venues. Offering a variety of services and spaces.

SCULPTURE COURT

The Sculpture Court is the main area available for entertaining with food, beverage and music. It offers a high ceiling with a skylight, dark wood and travertine floor, accompanied by Contemporary art for a unique and memorable experience. The Sculpture Court holds up to 175 people for a seated dinner and 400 for a standing reception. Should your event include a band/DJ and a dance floor, space accommodations are decreased to 150 for a seated dinner and 300 for a standing reception.

The rental fee for the Sculpture Court is $1,500 for four hours. For each additional hour the fee is $200. Rates are subject to change.

Events must be scheduled at OR after 6:00PM to assure privacy. Otherwise, the Museum will be open to the public.



ENTIRE MUSEUM

Explore the galleries of The Speed Art Museum and dine in the Sculpture Court and Main Foyer. The Entire Museum rental fee is $2,000 for four hours. Additional hours may be requested at $200 per hour. Please note the Main Level galleries are open however food and beverage are only permitted in the Sculpture Court and the Main Foyer. Rates are subject to change.

The Entire Museum can accommodate 250 people for a seated dinner and 700 for a standing reception. Your guests can enjoy the Special Exhibition on the Lower Level of the museum. Various ticket rates may apply and can be purchased in advance. Should your event include a band/DJ and a dance floor, space accommodations are decreased to 225 for a seated dinner and 600 for a standing reception.

Events must be scheduled at OR after 6:00PM to assure privacy. Otherwise, the Museum will be open to the public.

Full-Service Catering
The Speed Art Museum is exclusive with Bristol Catering. The contact is Laina Brown and she may be reached at (502) 584-3663. You may also visit their website www.bristolcatering.com to view sample menus. They can assist with food, beverages, and rentals.

Parking Garage
The Speed Art Museum offers an on-site 300 space-parking garage adjacent from the museum, available for $3.00 per car. The host of the event can choose to have the guest pay or request an invoice after the event for the number of spaces used.

Valet
Riverside will provide valet service if preferred. Call Special Events at (502) 634-2701 or email specialevents@speedmuseum.org for pricing information.

Auditorium
Theater Style seating for 300 is available, equipped with AV equipment. The rental fee is $130 an hour with a 2.5 hour minimum.

Museum Shop
The Museum Gift Shop may be requested to be open during an event. A fee of $100 will apply but may be waived if $100 of merchandise is purchased during the event.

Private Tours
Tours are available of the Permanent Collection and Special Exhibitions. Private Tours MUST be scheduled in advance. Contact Group Tour Sales at (502) 634-2960. Additional Fees may apply.
