AM- 4 PM Trolley Hop for Kids The
Main Library and the Speed Art Museum have partnered
to provide some creative fun for kids during spring break.
The 2nd annual Trolley Hop for Kids is a day filled with
fun activities as a special trolley transports children
and their families between the Main Library and the Speed
Art Museum. The Trolley will be free. Children get free
admission to ArtSparks with their library card. Children
get free admission to ArtSparks with their library card.
Adults will be required to pay admission. There will
be other activities going on that day throughout the
museum- painting activities will be outside (weather
permitting).

- 9:00 PM- Brown-Forman AfterHours at the Speed Join
us as we celebrate the charms of Kentucky with "Bourbon
and Bluegrass." The evening will feature the live
music of "Hog Operation," tastings of Woodford
Reserve, handicapping experts from Churchill Downs, food
samplings by Liquor Barn and tours of the Kentucky Collection.
Doors open at 5:30 PM. Admission is $10, free to museum
members. Parking is available in the Speed Garage for
$3.

with artist Maya Lin, best known for her design of the
Vietnam Veterans War Memorial in Washington, D.C. Trained
as an artist and architect, she has completed projects
ranging from memorials to sculpture, to park projects with
the idea of making a place for individuals within the landscape.
Co-sponsored by the Liberal Studies Project at the University
of Louisville and Speed Art Museum. This event will take
place in the Bomhard Theater at the Kentucky Center for
