Emanuel Ax

Pianist Emanuel Ax is considered a superstar of classical music. As a soloist Ax has demonstrates a particular affinity for the Romantics; nonetheless, his repertoire is among the most diverse of any pianist on the scene today and ranges from the music of Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven to important twentieth century figures like Tippett, Henze, and Hindemith. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and holds honorary doctorates of music from Yale and Columbia Universities. Concerts are held at the University of Louisville School of Music, Show your museum membership card a discounted $10 admission fee. Admission for non-members is $20. CANCELLED

Since his operatic defut in 1984, Ian Bostridge has risen to major prominence in the world of classical music. His international recital career has let him to perform in major concert halls across the globe as well as the Salzburg, Edinburgh, Munich, Vienna, Aldeburgh and Schubertiade Festivals.
