Lotte Reiniger was one of the first female animators who honed her signature style of silhouette animation. As a child, she was fascinated with the Chinese art of shadow puppetry and adapted the style to dozens of film adaptations of fairy tales.
This collection of delightful short films includes Cinderella, Puss in Boots, Snow White and Rose Red, and Thumbelina.
