Today’s teenage girls are tomorrow’s world citizens, voters, and activists! Through education and inspiration, girls can be empowered, informed, and confident. We invite all teenage girls to join our monthly book club that tackles tough subjects like women’s rights, immigration, civil rights, the environment, and much more, in a safe space that is open for dialogue. Readers will interact with guest moderators, politicians, and community advocates, plus have opportunities to connect through art and activism. All girls ages 13-17 are welcome.
Our October book is Overdressed: The Shockingly High Cost of Cheap Fashion by Elizabeth Cline. Our guest moderator will be Colleen Clines, Anchal Co-Founder & President/CEO, www.anchalproject.org.
Don’t have time to read the whole book but eager to join the conversation? Contact Eileen Yanoviak at firstname.lastname@example.org to get an excerpt.
