Whether you are a seasoned collector or simply have an interest in the history of design, membership in the Decorative Arts Collectors offers a unique opportunity: the chance to become an informed connoisseur of furniture, metalwork, ceramics, glass, and textiles while also making a lasting contribution to the Speed’s outstanding decorative arts collection.

The Decorative Arts Collectors’ activities and acquisitions span a wide range of time periods and materials. The group explores everything from French porcelains to Kentucky quilts to the designs of Frank Lloyd Wright as well as all points in between.

While the focus is on North America and Europe, the group also makes occasional forays into the arts of Asia and other regions. This balanced approach ensures an exciting, diverse program of events designed to appeal to a wide range of interests. Regardless of the subject, every event will sharpen the eye and provide unique insights into the history of the decorative arts.
