Three siblings reunite at their home in picturesque Burgundy to save the family vineyard in this tender tale of a new generation finding its own unique blend from acclaimed director Cédric Klapisch (L’Auberge Espagnole). As four seasons and two harvests go by, the family learns to reinvent their relationship and trust in each other as they work to preserve the land that ties them together.

Shot on location in several Burgundy vineyards over one year and four seasons, the film provides a fascinating glimpse into the winemaking process rarely depicted as authentically on screen. The screenplay was developed with the collaboration of veteran actor Jean-Marc Roulot from the film whose own real-life career as a top Burgundy winemaker provided invaluable input. 2017, France, DCP, in English, French, and Spanish with English subtitles, 113 minutes.  Recommended for 16+.

This national series, programmed by the venerable film critics and curators Harlan and Susan Jacobson, features a sneak preview screening of an art house film before its release, followed by a discussion.

Last year’s series featured such stellar titles as Moonlight (Best Picture 2016), A Man Called Ove, Toni Erdmann, Land of Mine, and 20th Century Women.

This year’s selections have included Rebel in the Rye, The Florida Project, Lady Bird, I, Tonya, and The Other Side of Hope.
