Summer Art Camps at the Speed

“My kids were wild about the Speed Summer Camps.
They were pampered with art and kindness!”

- a parent from 2009 Summer Art Camp

Let your budding artist’s creativity take flight….
Every year the Speed offers Summer Art Camps to capture the interest of any kid age 6-13. Whether your child participates in stop action clay animation, mastering the self-portrait or art through music, they’ll learn new skills, make great friends and have fun doing it! The entire museum campus is a field for discovery, where kids investigate the permanent collection, special exhibitions, and more through behind-the-scenes tours, hands-on encounters, and exciting activities all led by the best local artists and instructors hand-picked by the Speed education department! We design our classes to be small with just 15 participants to enable maximum attention and ensure that every student voice is heard.

Please know that Speed Camps do fill up very quickly.
Museum Members at the family level and above have the privilege to early register in late March
BEFORE the information goes out to the general public for open registration.

For more exciting information please call 502.634.2974 or email camps@speedmuseum.org
